The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program that provides financial assistance to help eligible households pay their winter heating bills. Assistance is based on annual household income and the number of members in your household. Payments are made directly to the primary heating vendor. If your rent and heat is included in your rent payment, a portion of your rent may be covered and the payment will be mailed to you.
