Unitil Service Corporation has issued the following Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) Requests for Proposals on behalf of its affiliate, Fitchburg Gas and Electric (“FG&E”) d/b/a Unitil (“Unitil”). FG&E is seeking proposals to supply NEPOOL GIS Certificates to satisfy its 2025 Massachusetts RPS, APS, CPS, and CES-E requirements. Unitil invites all interested parties to participate in this solicitation.
Respondents to this RFP must submit a completed Proposal Submission Form, REC Purchase Agreement, including any proposed contract exceptions, Bid Form, and NDA to receive Unitil’s financials. Submissions must be received on or before February 05, 2026 by 10 am (EPT) and should be marked “FGE REC RFP 2026-02” and sent via e-mail to Jeff Pentz at pentzj@unitil.com, pager@unitil.com and to energy_contracts@unitil.com. - Winning Supplier Notified: Thursday, February 05, 2026, 5:00 p.m.
- Contracts Executed: Monday, February 09, 2026.
