Unitil Service Corp has issued the following electric Default Service Requests for Proposals on behalf of its affiliates Fitchburg Gas and Electric (FG&E) and Unitil Energy Systems (UES).
FG&E seeks only Fixed Pricing load-following service as follows :
- Small and Medium Customer Groups – 50% of requirements beginning August 1, 2024 and ending on July 31, 2025 (12 months)
UES seeks Fixed Monthly Price load-following service as follows:
- Small and Medium Customer Groups – 90% requirements beginning August 1, 2024 and ending on January 31, 2025 (6 months)
UES seeks Variable Monthly Price load-following service as follows:
- Large Customer Group - 100% requirements beginning August 1, 2024 and ending on January 31, 2025 (6 months)
Note: Energy cost is a pass-through under Variable Monthly Pricing for UES Large Customers. Fixed Adders are bid to cover monthly capacity and other charges.

Proposal forms, including contract comments and indicative pricing, are due Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. EPT. Final pricing is due Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. EPT.
