Hi there, Alec O'Meara at Unitil here to talk a little bit about energy supply prices as they've been in the news a whole bunch lately. Energy supply rates are a separate part of the bill they're a direct pass-through on your utility bill meaning Unitil doesn't profit from it at all. However, it does change every six months and to a wide range of global energy issues they have been very volatile lately and we have seen some high rates.
Unitil's electric rate was approved in June and will remain stable through the next six months until the end of November. That makes now a great time to look at your energy usage and make plans for this coming winter in case that volatility continues.
