ConnectedSolutions works with Wi-Fi connected devices to reduce home electric usage during periods of high energy demand. Earn a $50 instant start-up incentive, and a $20 annual incentive for every thermostat connected to central air conditioning in your home.
All you have to do is enroll your qualified Wi-Fi thermostat. Unitil will automatically send a signal to your thermostat to pre-cool your home 2° F before the peak event and increase your thermostat setting 3° F during the peak event. Peak events may occur:
- June-September on hot humid days
- Non-holidays
- Between 2-7pm
There are typically 8 to 15 peak events every summer.
You can opt out of a peak event any time by changing your thermostat setting. You can opt out of most or all peak events; however, Unitil may unenroll you from the program for the following year if the program is not a good fit for you.
To be eligible, you must be a Unitil New Hampshire residential electric customer with central air conditioning in your home.

- Ecobee
- Emerson
- Honeywell (including Lyric)
- Lux
- Nest Radio Thermostat
- Resideo
