Each year, September is recognized as National Preparedness Month. It serves as a reminder that we all must take action to prepare, now and throughout the year, for the types of emergencies that could affect us where we live, work, and also where we visit. This year, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) has partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to recognize the need for us all to prepare with some important messages. We are proud to help share these messages with you, in both English and Spanish:
Don’t wait. Communicate, and make sure you are prepared for the next emergency. Visit ready.gov/communicate for more information, tools and resources as part of this important program.
