We are immensely proud and humbled by our Unitil employees, who together have pledged over $36,000 to Granite United Way (NH), United Way of Southern Maine, and United Way of North Central MA during our annual United Way Employee Campaign. The United Way campaign is a focused effort to raise dollars that help solve critical problems in our local communities each and every day.
During the week-long campaign, employees from all of Unitil’s locations pledged donations via 2023 payroll deductions and one-time payments. The money raised during this campaign supports a strong network of quality nonprofits and services to help change lives in our communities. The needs of our regions are complex and interconnected, and no single nonprofit or program can fix them all.
Together, our partners at United Way strengthen local communities in the areas of health, education, and financial stability. Programs include:
- Access to critical mental health supports
- Help kids continue to build resiliency to thrive in the classroom and beyond
- Access to financial stability programs that improve the financial future of participants
"This year's giving campaign was another great show of support for those around us that need an extra helping hand. We are so grateful to all of our employees for their generosity!"
- Kristen Anderson, Sr. Community Relations Specialist
Unitil has partnered with the United Way for over two decades. In this time, our employees have pledged over $500,000 during our annual campaigns.
