United Way Volunteer Center received a $6,000 donation from Unitil.

“Once again, Unitil ongoing support helps us connect the community to volunteer opportunities through our interactive website,” said Maribeth Janssens, director of community impact for United Way of North Central Massachusetts.

According to John DiNapoli, municipal and community manager for Unitil, volunteerism is critical to creating a vibrant and healthy community. “Our employees have participated in numerous volunteer events through the Volunteer Center. It is great and easy way to connect concerned citizens with pressing community needs.”

The United Way Volunteer Center has over 100 volunteer opportunities available, which can be viewed at www.uwncm.org.
