Unitil, (www.unitil.com), a provider of natural gas and electricity to customers in New England, is now accepting applications from graduating high school seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subject areas. With the purpose of supporting students in their first year of undergraduate study, six $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to students within Unitil’s service territories in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.
In the 11th year of this scholarship fund, Unitil continues to solidify its commitment to supporting STEM education and to helping local students succeed. Students who live and attend high school in one of Unitil’s service territories, who will also be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject area, are encouraged to apply for this scholarship opportunity. Applications must be submitted through Unitil’s online portal on or before April 2, and recipients will be notified by April 30.
Only applications from students in Unitil’s service territories will be considered. To check your eligibility, click here. To learn more and to apply, please visit our scholarship application page.
