Unitil has announced plans to hold its 2nd Annual “Ride and Drive” electric vehicle event on Saturday, Nov. 4, after it was postponed in September due to the threat of rain.

The event, which is geared toward EV enthusiasts and others exploring the market, will be held at Unitil’s electric operations facility, 30 Energy Way in Exeter, N.H., from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Unitil has partnered with Drive Electric NH, which is coordinated by Clean Energy NH, for the free and public event.

“Given the growing interest in the latest EV makes and models, we’re pleased that we were able to reschedule this important event to give those interested a chance to check out these vehicles and learn more about the EV experience,” said Unitil External Affairs Manager Alec O’Meara.

The event will feature electric vehicles from local dealerships, some of which will be available for a test drive. Personally owned vehicles will be displayed as well with owners available to answer questions and share their own EV driving experiences.
