Phillips Exeter Academy now touts the largest solar array of any school in New Hampshire. The installation is expected to save the academy more than $2 million in energy costs over the life of the system.

ReVision Energy, based in Brentwood, recently installed the ballasted rooftop array on the academy’s new 84,574-square-foot field house on Court Street at the intersection of Elliot Street. The installation, which consists of 1,552 solar panels, will offset the majority of the athletic facility’s electric load and is the largest in Unitil’s utility service territory.
