Granite State Challenge, the New Hampshire public television game show, has been airing at least a dozen years longer than the Concord High School contestants who will kick off the show’s 30th season have been alive.
Last fall, 52 high schools across the state competed for 16 spots on the show.
Concord High, which claimed one of those spots, opens the season against Portsmouth Christian Academy of Dover tonight at 6 on NHPTV Prime.
...The winning team receives $1,000, a trophy and a banner for their school. The runner-up gets $500 and a trophy.
