Mass Save Home Energy Assessment/Home Energy Services Program
Unitil has partnered with the gas and electric utilities throughout Massachusetts to offer our customers the suite of  Mass Save Programs.
The Mass Save Home Energy Services Program offers a 75% rebate up to $2,000 to improve the energy efficiency of our customers’ homes through weatherization. This fuel-neutral weatherization program offers a comprehensive “whole house” assessment. The assessment is an energy and safety evaluation of the home that includes an inspection of lighting and appliances as well as performance testing of the ventilation and mechanical systems, building tightness, and insulation levels that will result in recommended energy efficiency improvements. When you participate in the Home Energy Services Program, you'll save on energy bills and enjoy a more comfortable home year round.
If more extensive work is required, customers may also qualify for a zero-interest loan up to $25,000 through the HEAT loan program. To confirm eligibility, contact us toll-free:
888-301-7700 or use this form to request an informational packet.
