The launch of the new website, which was completely redesigned to enhance the customer experience, is also the public introduction of the company’s new branding, Energy for Life.
Energy for Life highlights the utility’s talented, dedicated employees as well as its commitment to innovation, customer care and service reliability, Carol Valianti, Unitil’s vice president of communications and public affairs said.

The new website features search capabilities, regional personalization and fully integrated social media tools, all designed to ease navigation and increase efficiency and functionality. The Outage Center offers real time service restoration updates via the company’s Twitter feed, @Unitil, while the MyUnitil account management section features easy online bill pay options as well as resources and advice to help customers lower energy costs. Details on Unitil’s involvement in the local neighborhoods it serves are located in the Our Community section, and the Media Center highlights the latest company news, upcoming events and safety tips.
“Unitil’s website is a key point-of-contact for our customers, stakeholders and the communities we serve,” Valianti said. “The new design helps users find the information they need quickly and easily, enabling us to continue to provide quality customer care.”
Unitil partnered with Calypso Communications, a full-service marketing and public relations firm based in Portsmouth, N.H., to establish the new brand positioning, redesign the company’s website and to work with the company on ongoing communications.
