GAS EMERGENCIES

CUSTOMER SERVICE

If you've lost power or see downed electrical wires, please call to report the outage to our customer service department at 800-852-3339 (Capital NH Region) or 800-582-7276 (Seacoast NH) 888-301-7700 or submit a report with our online form.

Tree crews are an integral part of outage restoration during, and following, a storm. Unitil works with tree contractors to reserve resources ahead of major storms, and communicates with crews during and after power restoration to address hazard trees and other compromises to our system.

CAUTION: Consider ALL downed or low-hanging wires to be very dangerous. Don't go near these lines or attempt to prune trees or branches around them! Even if you believe them to be phone or cable wires, treat them as dangerous as they may have become energized.

Storm Tree Removal and Clean-Up

During storms, Unitil crews are focused on safety and power restoration by cutting and clearing trees and limbs as quickly and safely as possible. During these emergency situations, tree work is completed without homeowner notification. Tree branches and debris aren't cleaned-up and must be disposed of by the tree-owner.
